A nice place to stay in Lombok

We spent four nights here and we loved it. A beautiful garden, a large room, a pool with a perfect view on the beach at sunset and a very rich breakfast have made our stay outstanding. In the common areas near the bar you have the chance to play table tennis, billiard and more. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us and for keeping such a nice resort in order. We rented a scooter for a good price and rode South to Sengiggi and Mataram. There was much less traffic than in Bali. We recommend the day trip to the other smaller and less popular Gilis as well (South West of Lombok).

We suggest putting extra care while cleaning the rooms, especially windows and in the corners.

Exceptional

Always a pleasure to pass by living asia. I stayed here as a transit in lombok, then pre and post-Rinjani climb. The hotel is soooo relaxing. The food and rooms have very decent prices for the quality offered. I especially love the seaview rooms and partial sea view rooms. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and taking a shower to the sound of waves is uniquely relaxing. The rooms are perfect for relaxing. Huge king bed with spotless white sheets and immensly confortable matress and pillows. Post rinjani was all about lounging around the pool drinking mocktails and getting massages in the spa center- which also have very decent prices!!! The stay was magnificent and every time we could book at living asia- my husband and I would simply to chill and relax in the hectic flow of our voyage.

We had a wonderful 6 days with great food, amazing staff and beutiful view!

Very beutiful gardens and amazing location on the beach!

Some rooms were a bit outdated but very well preserved. Not a big issue anyways!

A dream honeymoon destination.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were incredible! Serving a good mix of western and Indonesian foods. Our private pool was the perfect size and felt private and romantic. The public pool had plenty of space and was beachfront for a perfect sunset view. The property itself was beautiful and kept to a high standard. It was a peaceful place to celebrate our honeymoon.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Some travellers might want greater facilities (e.g., gym/yoga studio) on site or to be closer to main shopping and restaurant but that wasn’t the type of holiday we were looking for.

Living Asia Resort - Absolutely beautiful!!!

Our 2nd stay at Living Asia. It was just as perfect as the last. You really don't need to leave the hotel. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is pristine and the water is nice and cool. The views & sunset is amazing. The staff are wonderful & friendly. The food is super tasty & they give you large portions. They have a pool table, chess board and card games. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Book a tour with Harry and he will make sure your day goes to plan. We stayed in the garden view rooms for 4 nights with partial beach view. 10/10 for huge room size, cleanliness & WOW....The bed & pillows are so comfortable. We didn't want to leave. ATM, pharmacy, more choice of restaurants & bars are available in Sengiggi. It is a short taxi ride which cost 35000 rupiah. AUD$3.50 each way.

Very Good

Beautiful gardens and lovely staff. The room was clean. The breakfast was tasty and generous. The sunset was amazing to watch with plenty of spots to sit.

A lot of burning of garbage around the location, always smelt like fire.

Beautiful property, restaurant and some facilities could be upgraded to make it exceptional!

Beautiful ocean view, sunset view of Mount Agung, peaceful landscaped gardens and friendly, helpful staff. I loved the peaceful location but a free shuttle to town would be appreciated. Lovely clean villa, large comfortable bed, seating areas and good shower.

Air-con did not work very well and no fan as alternative. Location is remote and on-site restaurant felt overpriced. Hair dryer should be upgraded!

Would recommend!

I found the staff very friendly and welcoming. The beachfront was perfect for us. Food was great and so was the daily afternoon tea. Beautiful resort and clean. I loved the outdoor washroom. I also liked that it was slightly outside the main part of Senggigi, so quieter area.

Just the ants or other bugs that might stroll in from the outdoor washroom but they provide insect sprays and repellents in our suite.

The food was delicious and the breakfast was good.

The food was delicious and the breakfast was good. Had a lot of options. The room service was prompt and it was still hot when delivered.

The problem. I got a massage from a lady and she did a good job but unfortunately, she was sick. She had a cough and during the massage, she passed that sickness to me. Later that day, I was already feeling feverish and light headed. I've come back to where I stay and I've had to go to a clinic to get antibiotics. It was just unfortunate.

Very accommodating and willing to change my room. Very friendly staff and beautiful facilities. Tourist agency on the beach was cheaper for tours.

Beach is not very big or clean. Tours and transfer fees were ridiculously priced for the area. A local was willing to do the same tour or transfer for much cheaper. Food at the restaurant was too expensive for what it was, but you don’t have much access to other restaurants without going to the downtown beach.

The management and staff made every effort to make us...

The management and staff made every effort to make us feel relaxed and very much at home. There is complimentary tea/ coffee and snacks served at 4 o clock each evening the kitchen provided me with gluten free options each morning and also at 4 pm. We had a 5am check out and were each provided with a complimentary breakfast box to take along with us. Although this resort is away from nearby towns there are 3 different free shuttle times daily provided to drop you off. Overall a wonderful time was had by everyone.

Nice hotel to relax

The hotel seems to be constructed some time ago, but is well maintained. The rooms and other facilities were good for the price quoted (we were in low season). Staff was very friendly and nice.

Quite away from major “touristic” restaurants and warungs, so have to drive by taxi. Although the beach is nice and just in 15 meters, the shore is rocky and is quite hard to enter and swim due to high waves (low season)

Gorgeous hotel in a secluded location

The hotel is a masterpiece. Beautifully designed, made me want to take pictures of every corner. Staff are super friendly. Hotel offers shuttle to Senggigi free of charge (three times a day). Wonderful swimming pool, great for when the sea not calm.

The beach was not as expected. Having read earlier reviews, we expected that the beach is maintained and kept free of rocks to make it easy to enter the sea. In reality, that wasn't the case. (My partner actually fractured a toe when he accidentally hit a rockon the beach). It was quite impossible to swim in the ocean (might be due to the monsoon season).
